This Sintra Private Full-day Tour + Wine Cellar Tasting is the perfect option for wine lovers, that will join both visits to historical medieval village of Sintra, considered UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE since 1995, with it's fairytale palaces and castles. We we also pass by Cabo da Roca, European Westernmost Point, on the coast, and combining with a wine tasting at a local wine cellar. Only located 20min from Lisbon, this is the perfect day tour for you.
In the afternoon we will taste some of the regional wines that are produced in this region, at one old local wine cellar. In Sintra we have the second oldest wine-production region in Portugal, named Colares (Douro is the oldest wine region in the world, in Northern Portugal) and the only wine region in Europe that survived the phyloxera bug in the 19th Century.

The Sintra Private Tour + Wine Tasting combines what we have best: The most beautiful village in the country and the best wines of thie region, all in one day!
We start with a visit to the historical village of Sintra, former summer residence of the Portuguese Kings and a taste of local traditional pastry.
In the morning, we will visit the Pena National Palace in Sintra, considered one of the most beautiful palaces in the world.
The lunch, if selected the option, will be provided in a typical portuguese restaurant, managed by a family for more than 30 years.
After lunch, the visit will continue along other historical areas of Sintra, towards Cabo da Roca, the European Westernmost Point of Europe. The tour will end with an awesome experience of Wine Tasting in a local wine cellar, tasting different local regional wines.
- Arrive at Sintra around 9h15m and to the Pena National Palace.
- Visit to Pena Palace, former Royal Summer Residence of the Portuguese Kings (1h30m)
- Complimentary Port Wine Tasting in the village, at a local shop, combining different port wines and different ages (20m)

Pick-up and drop-off in Lisbon (Hotel, Airport or cruise terminal) can be arranged per request - you can select option during booking process.
Pick-up time is scheduled for 8h30AM, although this can be changed per request / Flexible start and end time for cruise ship passengers.
Same place as pickup or any other agreed place per request.
Drop-off is scheduled between around 6PM, although it can be changed if you need to get back earlier.

- This tour is prepared for Full-Day (around 8h), although, if you have shorter time, we can fit it to your needs
- Most of our tours are done using minivans for your comfort (more leg room). For larger groups we have available larger buses/motor coaches. Vehicle type, size, brand or color can never be guaranteed on our regular tours.
- Single travelers are accepted on all our private tours, paying two adult tickets.
